Echoes & Threads Privacy Policy
In short
- Data not collected. Echoes & Threads doesn’t send your personal information to us or to anyone else. What you enter stays on your device.
- No tracking and no ads. Echoes & Threads doesn’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites and doesn’t show ads.

- No account: you don’t sign in, and we don’t know who you are.
Who we are
Echoes & Threads is published by Marketgence Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Echoes & Threads on your iPhone or iPad. Questions: [email protected].
What stays on your device
Echoes & Threads keeps these on your device, in the app’s own storage that other apps can’t read:
- The people you add: names, photos, birthdays, how you know them and your notes about them.
- Your echoes: titles, dates, places, stories, themes and feelings, including romantic or intimate details you choose to record.
- Photos you choose with the system photo picker, saved as resized copies inside the app.
- Your reminder choices for each person.
- A copy of the same data in a storage area shared only with the app's own home-screen widget, on your device.
We don’t receive this information and can’t see it.
Like other app data, it may be included in your device backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you use them.
What leaves your device
Nothing that identifies you. Echoes & Threads doesn’t send your personal information to us or to third parties. In App Store terms, the app’s privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
Permissions
Echoes & Threads asks for these only when you use the feature that needs them. You can change your answer at any time in the Settings app.

Tracking, ads and analytics
Echoes & Threads doesn’t track you: it doesn’t link information about you with information from other companies’ apps, websites or data brokers, and it doesn’t use an advertising identifier.
Echoes & Threads doesn’t show ads.
It has no analytics or crash-reporting services. If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may share crash reports with us; Apple doesn’t include your identity.
Accounts
There are no accounts in Echoes & Threads. You don’t sign in or give us your name or email address.
Purchases
Echoes & Threads has no in-app purchases.
Children
Echoes & Threads isn’t directed at children under 13, and it doesn’t collect personal information from anyone.
How long data is kept, and deleting it
Information on your device stays until you delete it. Deleting Echoes & Threads removes the information it keeps in its own storage on your device; copies in your backups remain until you delete those.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have the right to know what information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, and to object to how it’s used. Because Echoes & Threads keeps your information on your device, you can see, change and delete it in the app. To make a request or a complaint, email [email protected]. You can also contact your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Echoes & Threads handles information, we’ll update this page and its effective date, and list the change below.
