Salonnière Privacy Policy
In short
- Data not collected. Salonnière doesn’t send your personal information to us or to anyone else. What you enter stays on your device.
- No tracking and no ads. Salonnière doesn’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites and doesn’t show ads.
- No analytics or crash-reporting services are built in.
- No account: you don’t sign in, and we don’t know who you are.
Who we are
Salonnière is published by Marketgence Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Salonnière on your iPhone or iPad. Questions: support@marketgence.com.
What stays on your device
Salonnière keeps these on your device, in the app’s own storage that other apps can’t read:
- First names you add, the groups they form and how each group likes to play.
- Which cards each group played or lingered on, and the questions you saved to revisit.
- Games in progress, and the records and postcards of finished ones, including the fictional choices, names and short phrases you type while playing.
- For Wren House: the explorer's name, what's inside each parcel and your note for it, her progress and choices, and a chapter-by-chapter log of tries and hints.
- Settings: sound and reduced motion for Wren House, the Tonight sound setting, whether you've read the welcome letter, and which stacks, lives and nights are unlocked.
We don’t receive this information and can’t see it.
Like other app data, it may be included in your device backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you use them.
What leaves your device
Nothing that identifies you. Salonnière doesn’t send your personal information to us or to third parties. In App Store terms, the app’s privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
Permissions
Salonnière asks for these only when you use the feature that needs them. You can change your answer at any time in the Settings app.

Tracking, ads and analytics
Salonnière doesn’t track you: it doesn’t link information about you with information from other companies’ apps, websites or data brokers, and it doesn’t use an advertising identifier.
Salonnière doesn’t show ads.
It has no analytics or crash-reporting services. If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may share crash reports with us; Apple doesn’t include your identity.
Accounts
There are no accounts in Salonnière. You don’t sign in or give us your name or email address.
Purchases
Salonnière has no in-app purchases.
Children
Salonnière isn’t directed at children under 13, and it doesn’t collect personal information from anyone.
How long data is kept, and deleting it
Information on your device stays until you delete it. You can delete it in the app: Forget a group (Collection, Your people) to delete it with its lives, postcards and games in progress. Delete a life record or postcard from its page, remove a saved question with its close button, or clear Wren House's history. Deleting the app removes everything. Deleting Salonnière removes the information it keeps in its own storage on your device; copies in your backups remain until you delete those.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have the right to know what information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, and to object to how it’s used. Because Salonnière keeps your information on your device, you can see, change and delete it in the app. To make a request or a complaint, email support@marketgence.com. You can also contact your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Salonnière handles information, we’ll update this page and its effective date, and list the change below.
