What can I do with Parked for the Night?
- Three places to park for the night: Ocean Overlook, Rainy Forest and Quiet Lakeshore, each with its own painted view and starting mix.
- A mixer with 35 sounds in six collections: Around the Camper, Cello & Piano, Birdsong, Monteverde (Costa Rica), Puerto Rico and Sounds of Andalucía.
- Green, deep green, pink and brown noise, made on your device.
- A sleep timer that plays all night, or fades to silence after 15 to 90 minutes with a fade of 1 to 30 minutes.
- Saved blends: 11 to start with, plus your own, which you can rename and delete.
- Keeps playing with the screen locked, with play and pause on the lock screen and headphones.
- Plays through AirPlay or Bluetooth speakers.
- A note for tomorrow, kept on your device.
Will the sounds keep playing when I lock my phone?
Yes. Tap Start the night and lock your phone; the mix keeps playing. You can pause or resume it from the lock screen or your headphones.
How do I set a sleep timer?
Open Mixer and scroll to Sleep timer. Tap Fade after and choose 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes, then set how long the fade-out lasts, from 1 to 30 minutes. Choose All night to keep playing until you stop.
How do I save a blend?
Shape a mix in Mixer, then open Presets and tap Save current mix. Tap a blend to open it in the mixer, or its play button to start it. Swipe left to rename or delete it.
Can I play through a speaker?
Yes. In Mixer, tap the AirPlay button next to play and pick an AirPlay or Bluetooth speaker. If headphones or a Bluetooth speaker disconnect, the night pauses instead of switching to the phone's speaker.
Does it need the internet?
No. Every sound is built into the app, and nothing you do in it is sent anywhere.
Do I need an account?
No. Parked for the Night works without signing in.
Where is my data kept?
On your device. We don’t have a copy, so we can’t recover it if you delete the app; keep your device backed up.
How do I delete my data?
In the app: Clear your note in Mixer ▸ A note for tomorrow ▸ Clear, and delete a blend by swiping it left in Presets. Deleting the app removes everything it saved. Deleting Parked for the Night from your device removes what it keeps in its own storage.
