What can I do with Popcorn Panic?

How do I start a movie night with friends?
Tap START THE PARTY, then share the invite link or room code. Friends open the link or enter the code on the home screen. Everyone adds up to 5 picks and votes, and the host spins.
Who can see my name in a party room?
Everyone in the room, and anyone who opens the room's invite link. Rooms you host are listed under Open rooms by default, where anyone using the app can see the host's and players' names; the host can turn off List in open rooms in the room settings.
Can I play on my own?
Yes. Solo Spin — Just Me spins your own picks on this device and doesn't use our party server.
How do I change my name, avatar or colour?
In a party room, open the room settings to change your name, avatar and colour. Until you change it, your name is a random fun name the app makes up.
Do I need an account?
No. Popcorn Panic works without signing in.
Where is my data kept?
Some of it on our server, as described in the Privacy Policy; the rest.
How do I delete my data?
In the app: Spin History ▸ Clear removes your spin history. There's no single control that erases everything; deleting the app removes all data stored on the device. Deleting Popcorn Panic from your device removes what it keeps in its own storage. Party room data can't be deleted from the app. The host can remove a player from the room. To have a room's saved data deleted, contact us with the room code.
